The IPMSOC club kicked off the new year with a great meeting and model contest.
The contest theme was models with tribal names, attendance was a little light due to continued COVID concerns here in So Cal, but a lot of fine models were on display on the contest and display tables. We also held the “Best of” 2021 Theme and Judge’s choice models as a part of the contest.
After David reviewed club news and contest voting was completed, we had a special presentation from local artist Stan Vosburg – a very interesting discussion on the creative process involved in his paintings, all of which is very applicable to the model building process.
