The June meeting was dedicated to the distressed kit auction, where club members bid on kits that are either new, used, partially built, or in questionable condition.
Regardless of the condition of the kit, bids are made, and everyone has a good time. We had lots of donated kits, and the club made some money.
The contest theme was the Korean war – Any subject known to be associated with the ‘Police Action’ in Korea, and also a group build for civilian boats. The boats dominated the tables, but some fine Korean War models were also displayed.
