November 2023 Monthly Meeting News
The November OCIPMS meeting included a presentation on making models and Christmas ornaments from aluminum cans!
David Fredrick kicked off the meeting announcing the award of Newsletter and website of the year. Great job OCIPMS!
Bob Penikas did a comprehensive presentation on model making using paper templates and aluminum cans. The process of making usable sheets of aluminum from coke cans and shaping them into the parts needed to assemble a model was explained.

The contest theme was “Made in the USA” and many of the models represented the theme well. 26 models were on the tables for the November contest.
