March 2022 Meeting News
The March meeting was well attended, and a good number of models were on display. The monthly theme was “Lighting and Thunderbolts” (P-38’s and P-47’s).
Contest results
After the meeting kick off and voting for the monthly contest, we settled in for a detailed presentation by Nat Richards on the development and history of the P-47 starting with the early designs that lead to the iconic P-47 razorback and bubble top, ending with the final version – the long-range escort P-47N.
