February saw the IPMSOC club members meet for the second time at our new location – the Messiah Lutheran Church in Buena Park. The heater was on, and the tables were full of models.
IPMSOC President Dave Frederick opened the meeting with a review of club business followed with a presentation by Sean Fallesen showing how to convert a model using saws, scrapers, and exacto blades to another version or type.
The best of 2022 models (theme and judge’s choice monthly winners) were on display for a vote on the best of the best.
The Monthly contest theme was Detroit Iron, and a lot of fine car models were on the tables along with trucks and tanks (also considered Detroit Iron)
March contest theme is: Comes in Threes – Anything known for three of one thing. Three wings, three engines, three wheels, three masts. See you on March 17th.
